There are four steps to placing a bid on an auction. You must complete all four steps to record and display your bid in a listing’s "Bid History".
- Click the "Bid Now" button on the item you are viewing.
- From the listing item page, select the number of nights (if applicable), enter your maximum bid price for the item, and click the Place Bid button.
- Review your bid details and billing information. You can edit these by clicking the "Edit" or "Cancel" buttons, or move forward with your bid by clicking the "Next" button.
- You must check the checkbox indicating that you understand that your bid is non-retractable, your credit card will be charged if you win the auction, and that your purchase is non-refundable. Once the checkbox is checked, click the "Confirm My Bid" button.
Once submitted, you will see information about your bid indicating the bid amount placed, and if your bid is currently the winning bid. To place additional bids, click the Place Another Bid button. You can then re-enter a new bid according to the current Next Bid amount.
When reviewing an item’s Bid History after having placed a bid, you should reload or refresh your browser so that it displays the most current information.
